Fearless and female
The proof is in the pudding: we’ve just moved up to No. 3 in the annual ColoradoBiz Top 100 Woman-Owned Companies. It’s pretty exciting for us, because it represents growth (including jobs). This ranking was based on revenue and they looked at businesses in 28 Colorado cities.
And just a side note: according to Forbes, women-owned businesses have been doing better than their male counterparts over the past 14 years. The recent post stated, “As of 2011, it is estimated that there are over 8.1 million women-owned businesses in the United States, generating nearly $1 .3 trillion in revenue and employing nearly 7.7 million people.” Salute! Or should I say roar?
