Broadcast Media Buyer
Vladimir Jones is looking for a really smart and innovative individual who has a seasoned background of success in traditional broadcast media and is excitedly hip to the evolving digital video and audio products. (You know who you are.)
Your day to day will be packed with media analysis, inventory audits, negotiations, reporting and the like, but don’t worry, there will likely be the occasional intra-department debate about who really watches “Two and a Half Men” and why. That’s just the kind of media buyers we hire – those curious and philosophical brainiacs open to addressing the answerless questions in life.
Requires strong organizational and administrative skills with above average mathematical and computer capabilities. An aptitude to adapt to the digital consumer of today is helpful in the transitioning media of today. Strategic and research talent is a plus, as is a marketing educational background. The buyer must be able to balance multiple tasks in an organized fashion and understand the importance of making deadlines. Exceptional communication skills are required to ensure that timely, effective and accurate interfacing with the media community and in-agency departments occurs.
